So scratch that first idea. I have decided to re-imagine a narrative booklet of mine from first year. I tried to mimic the indesign publication look for the project, but I told the story without any words at all. The little narrative is still a daily ritual of mine and I think I will enjoy revisiting it (with words!)
Its about how i get home from school. Its intense, really!

I think for this project I am going to do a bio book for me and my friends. I want to put Polaroid borders around their pictures, and write a bit on them on each page.
I’m having problems getting a hold of a copy of InDesign i can use out of class, but I’m sure ill figure something out!
Either that, or I want to take written bio’s off the internet and use them as my friends bio’s, just to shake things up
I think it would be hilarious to make my friends out to be different people.

Ok, so here it is! The poster, in all its (sort of) glory.
I’m looking forward to seeing all the posters in class today!

Am I the only one here that thinks that their Adobe Illustrator work looks like something straight out of Kid Pix?
Am I the only one who remembers Kid Pix?

It used to be my favorite program as a kid. It was so cool.

So there we go! The final images! I hope I did it right and that everything looks ok. I vaguely remembered something about using the save image for web & devices option, so I went with that!
Thanks for all the comments today everyone! All the works we went through today were fabulous!
See you after reading week!

Found amazing wonders with correcting features with the smudge tool. Found it while experimenting today.
Also, does anyone know what a nudge is in Photoshop? I found a new button on a mouse I don’t use very often, and it nudges my image. It is very strange.

So I am running along and trying to finish the background for the cellphone image and I can’t!
I suppose i need to just take a picture of my feet since I cannot find any even suitable on Flicker or anywhere really. Its frusterating.
I have the TV Face one, a cellphone face one, and a Computer monitor face one.
I’m running a little behind, but I am excited to see everyone’s work on tuesday!

I have officially changed my idea to ‘Trapped in Technology’
Here are some thumbnails.
I am sad because I spent so long cleaning these up to use and it looks like i haven’t done much, to any of them.
Grah!
